2009 Chardonnay
Lots of great butterscotch and touches of vanilla with pineapple upside-down cake. Smooth mouth fell with nice citrus flavors and our signature minerality. Look for notes of guava and clean crisp acidity on the finish. Easy to sip alone but will pair nicely with scallops and any other rich seafood.

2009 Chenin Blanc
Floral aromas with predominant guava and citrus notes. Also, look for the mineral component to tie everything together. Lovely, soft and coating initial mouth feel that is dominated by melon, lychee and guava. Well balanced acidity throughout and a crisp, green apple finish make this wine a perfect match for spicy dishes as well as cheese and fruit plates.

2009 Late Harvest Riesling
This 2009 Late Harvest Riesling is only the third to be produced since 1976 from our organic vineyards.  In order to successfully produce a Late Harvest, the growing season has to achieve specific conditions -- primarily even heat and long hang time.  2009 was such a season and we picked these Riesling grapes late in November at a harvest Brix of 32.  After allowing the skins to have contact with the juice for 48 hours (to allow more sugar extraction) the Brix had risen to 36! Cold fermentation ensued and was halted at approximately 7% residual sugar to allow for a balanced mouth feel which perfectly accompany the natural fruit components of this Riesling. The aromas of this Late Harvest range from peach and apricot to honeysuckle and the mouth feel is luscious with appropriate sweetness and balanced pit fruit flavors.  Enjoy this rare offering as an aperitif, with your favorite cheesecake or over vanilla ice cream.

2010 Merlot Rose
Ripe watermelon, strawberry/raspberry nose with nice expression of minerality. Juicy flavors if strawberry and cranberry with light citrus notes. Also look for fuzzy peach/apricot flavors. Nice crisp acidity throughout with a clean finish. Check it out with grilled fish or chicken and even potato salad.

2004 Merlot
Deep, garnet. Nicely layered aromas of cedar, crushed blackberries and subtle vanilla. Also, look for hints of lavender and marjoram as wine opens. Bright and upfront fruit flavors of black cherry and pomegranate fruit. Medium tannin feel throughout with a clean acidity. Flavors develop nicely as wine is allowed to open and will pair nicely with a wide range of food from red meats to pork.

2009 Cachagua Cabernet Sauvignon
Concentrated blackberry aroma with slight toasty oak notes. Also, look for mint chocolate chip and soy sauce. Fruit forward mouth feel with bright dark berry flavors. Soft mid-mouth feel with long lingering fruit and well balanced acid with medium tannins throughout. This wine will pair excellently with any red meat dishes and robust pasta plates in addition to being a wonderful everyday sipper.

2005 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
Elegant, layered aromas of dark berry, coffee/mocha, bittersweet chocolate along with an exotic  sandalwood component. Also, look for hints of beeswax. Soft and supple entry leads to building medium to medium high tannins that envelope the entire mouth. Dark berry and cassis flavors abound and on the finish look for extended concentrated fruit flavors.

2008 "Dancers" Meritage
Aromas of cocoa, leafy herbs, cassis and mint. Also look for nice toasted sweet oak that rounds out the fruit components.Fruit driven with a medium-to-full body along with tangy, cranberry, and cassis flavors. Plump, chewy tannins are apparent along with an earthy minerality. Finishes with a crisp fruit and mocha fade with zippy tannins.

2009 Malbec
Big, sweet oak/vanilla with toasty notes, ripe plumy black fruit aromas, ripe figs and nice hints of toffee. Round supple entry leading into an explosive berry mouth feel with bright acidity. A full-bodied palate with grippy, ripe tannins and good depth of fruit. Finishes with a long, succulent fade with polished, superfine tannins. A flavorful and stylish malbec that will go great with spicy Middle Eastern lamb dishes.

2008 Petit Verdot
Extremely layered aromas of cassis, black cherry custard and vanilla butter cream. Also, look for toasty oak and dried herb undertones. Rich and flavorful with an excellent food friendly tanginess and balanced tannins. Lively dry-yet-fruity body with a tangy blueberry pie finish. A lovely minerality carries throughout palate from start to finish. Serve with any number of red mead dishes and grilled game..

2008 Pinot Noir
Spicy cranberries and pomegranate, baked berries, and mint fudge with nice touches of toasty oak and wild strawberry. Bright berry/cherry mouth flavors. Crisp, dryish medium body and a tangy, earthy blackberry, apple and spice finish. Finishes with a tangy, juicy, tart berry and cocoa powder fade. Pair with roasted pork tenderloin.

2005 Cabernet Franc
Dried cherry, black currant and dark plum with some notes of fresh tobacco. Also, look for sweet oak/vanilla as the wine opens. Full body with layers of ripe, black fruit, youthful tannins and nicely integrated oak with pleasant herbal tea notes. This is a big, forceful Cabernet Franc with and excellent structure for aging because of the firm tannins and lively acidity.

2006 "Toby's Vintage" Merlot Port
Concentrated raisin and fig aroma with tobacco leaf. Subtle notes of honey, vanilla, sweet oak and bourbon barrel aromas. Supple, seamless and full-bodied with cassis, blackberry, honey and caramel flavors. Rich caramelized nuts follow through to a silky, fruity medium-to-full body of honeyed raisin and roasted nut flavors with a distinct sherry note. Finish is crisp and lengthy with an enduring fade

2002 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
Big, bright nose of concentrated blackberry, marjoram and subtle toasted oak. The patient observer will note, with time in the glass, luscious cassis aromas, hints of coffee bean and melted dark chocolate. But mostly big, big berries! Nicely layered, expansive mouth with appropriate BIG tannins and balanced acid carry through into a massive, lip-smacking finish. Lingering flavors of blueberry and sweet oak remain well after wine leaves the mouth.
